The development of the welding technology qualification procedure and the subsequent preparation and implementation of the technology manual is a multi-stage process. Development of a qualification procedure for welding technology - WPS welding at the highest level

WPS is the basic source of information for welding personnel performing all welding work on a specific structure or product, created on the basis of the WPQR. It is assumed that the documentation should at least contain the technological guidelines, i.e. for example the numerical designation of the welding process, the method of surface preparation, a schematic drawing of the joint to be welded, the parameters during the welding and position, whether information on the filler material, identification data, information on the material to be welded and other specific requirements related to the method of welding.
